Movin'

The house is really pretty big - and there's a 2nd floor walk which looks down on the great room that makes the place feel even bigger. I think if we ever get around to it, all my stuff that didn't fit in the first load (and all Shaun's stuff back in storage at Foothill) we will find places for everything. Thanks to everyone for the help :)

Abi finally has bunkbeds in her room, a fact by which she is very excited at the prospects of sleep-overs. But the whole process has been rough on Eli. He finally crashed out hours after dinner.

This is the place!

It took over a week of searching with no luck to finally let our real estate agent go and look for ourselves. Within two days of that, we were talking lease terms with the manager on a nice house in Heritage Village, Fontana. By that weekend we were moving in.

Driving down to LA, part 2

You may notice that there is no part 1 to go with this. The kids and I drive down to visit in July for a holiday, and while we were there I had an interview and a job offer. So when we drove back up to Idaho at the end of the vacation, we ended up packing quickly to turn right around and drive back down within the space of 2 weeks.
