Sushi!

For our group sushi date, Jami suggested a new restaurant this time: SushiYa! It was a lot of fun, and I got so see some friends that I hadn't talked to in a long time - Shanna and Brian, their little one Kian, and Joe (though his lovely lady Toni and their son sadly couldn't make it). Matt and Zeph ended up going to a basketball game with my Dad, but Jacinda, Shaun, Luke and my Mom came along for the fun.

Nerf Attack!

A departure this year from the silly string we used to get in our stockings - Mom gave us mini nerf guns! We couldn't wait for New Years morning to try them out, however.

 

The arms race soon escalated...

Christmas Morning

The kids were up early of course, even before we could get the breakfast dishes in the oven. So we munched on cookies and coffee instead while the kids started the festivities.

 

Zeph's favorite gift this year may have been the boy-sized duplo dump truck from Troy and Stacey. He rode all over the kitchen and living room in it, with a push here and there!
