As it is, you can see the house is still packed with tools, plastic draping, materials, and busy bees working. Uncle Bear and Michael have been there every day for hours getting items checked off the to-do list. The countertop should be installed tomorrow, and then the light boxes should be ready for fixtures and the plumbing should be done by the end of this weekend. After that, it's a matter of patching and finishing the painting. Things like molding on floors and ceilings, leveling the yard and fixing the sprinklers, and repairing the eaves and roof shingles will have to come after we move in. Let's just hope there's no rain for another month!
On the plus side, Uncle Bear got all the kitchen flooring in today - we went with the same type of vinyl tile they used in their house - and it looks amazing. I started grouting it in last night, and Shaun put in a couple more hours after that.

I know it is still too small, but it appears to be coming together so nicely. I think you're gonna have a very sweet, cozy home very soon.
"Waiting is, Michael." - Heinlein
or as Boppy was fond of saying,
"All things come to those that wait... and work like Hell in the meantime."
The floors look great! I wish we were there to help you settle in!
