The naalbinding project is also coming along nicely. I am starting from the toe and working the stitch in a spiral. The wool gague is still a little big compared to the original sock, but if I make this any tighter it won't be stretchy and comfy to wear. The worsted yarn is beautiful! So lusterous, soft and silky!

Wool, Silk, and Gold
Here are the latest pictures of my fiber arts projects: The tablet woven band is coming along slowly but surely. The commercial weaving silk is nice, but it's not holding up as well as I had hoped in the weaving - it's pilling like crazy and it has lost a lot of the luster it started with. It still looks pretty nice though...
